The winner of our live chat contest, which awarded a 60 day game card and a Papa Hummel’s Old Fashioned Pet Biscuit loot card, donated by Niteowl1970 was Stompalina, co-host of the Rawrcast Show, who answered with the fastest cut and paste from WoW Wiki on the question: “What are the two types of titans?” which you will know is Aesir and Vanir from the Titan wiki page.

Episode 100 Contests!

As we announced on the live recording of All Things Azeroth this past Monday, February 9th will be our live recording of the 100th episode of the show. To celebrate, we will have audio played from all over our fan base, and other podcasts as well. That’s not all though! We will also have 2 contests on the live show. The first is a live chat contest. You must be in the live chat when we give it out to win. The prize for that will be a Papa Hummel’s Old Fashioned Pet Biscuit loot card and a 60 day World of Warcraft game card.

The second contest is one where you can get in early. What you do is email us in your best World of Warcraft screenshot, and we will judge the winner. The winner will be announced on the show, but does not need to be in the live chat. The winner of this prize will win a set of all three World of Warcraft Soundtracks on the original CDs from the Collector Editions. No idea on the value, but if you live the music as much as Graece and I do, this is an amazing prize.

We look forward to your emails and your attendance at this, an amazing day in the show’s history. Special Occassion

So I was hoping we’d have the latest episode out for today, the 15th of January, but alas it seems not so, so I thought I would write up a little post about this day. Two years ago I posted the first episode of All Things Azeroth, with myself and my then co-host and recent guest host Lelia. It was the day before Burning Crusade and everyone was excited. 10 hours from the point it went up, the expansion would begin to hit the servers.
People hit the live realms in quick order, beginning at midnight local to them, and while I was not in line that time, I did hear some amazing stories from the launch parties. I recall fondly the first netherwhelps showing up, luckily at the behest of a guildmate, and I got copious screenshots with him. 731 days, and 96 episodes ago All Things Azeroth hit the internet. Thanks for making it an awesome two years, one and all!
